Microsoft has just launched a new program called WebsiteSpark.  This program will provide web developers and designers free copies of Microsoft development tools, applications and server licenses for three years. This is their third program that Microsoft launched as part of the ’spark’ group, that is designed to engage new startups with Microsoft products.  There are two other programs like this one that Microsoft has that are BizSpark, to help startups, and DreamSpark, geared for students.

The WebsiteSpark program provides eligible individuals or companies with 3-year licenses of :

• Visual Studio 2008
• Expression Studio
• Expression Web 
• Windows Web Server
• SQL Server 
• DotNetPanel

In order to be eligible, an organization or individual must be in the business of building web applications or websites for their clients and also have no more than 10 employees.  Take a look; you may qualify for this program and at lease try out some of the software that they offer.
