A time of disappointment, stress and confusion is about to be over.  AcceptEdge, is a new startup, looking to help take a little bit of uncertainty out of the college selection process.

When you log in to the site, you are asked a series of questions about your academics, family, and personal history.  Most of the information is very general like, your GPA, SAT scores, and so on.  Some other things that the site takes into the account are things like your interests, books you like to read, and music you like to listen to.  

once you are done entering all this information, you get your ‘Edge Score’ that tells you how competitive you may be compared to your peers in selection of your top college matches, and a percentage indicating how closely they may fit you.  There’s also some data displayed for each school admissions history, with information on some of the indicators like GPA vs. standardized test scores.  Most of this data I am sure is also based on the people that have already registered on the site.
