According to TechCrunch, MySpace is close to acquiring a very popular social music service iLike. This deal should take place sometime this week, and should be priced around $20 million.
iLike, was first launched in late 2006, and now has around 50 million users. iLike is the top music app on Facebook, as well as many other social networks.
By making this acquisition, MySpace will solidify their leading position as one of the most popular online networks for musicians and bands.
