It is very interesting how both announcements have taken place one after the other, not to be outdone by ether company.  As soon as some leaked information on Google Chrome OS started floating arround, the official announcement has been release by Google regarding its new upcoming OS.  This announcement has followed by Microsoft regardingits version of Microsoft office the WEB version, to counter the Google Docs.

This had to happen eventually and we all knew it.  The full details on the functionality will be released on Monday at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in New Orleans.  The new version of Office will most likely have an ability to sync with the web, and the ability to use the web version without any additional software.
