Microsoft has announced a Windows 7 pricing grid and here are the details:
Vista and XP users will have to pay $119.99, $199.99, or $219.99 for Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate upgrade respectively, and for those of you who want a full retail disc will pay $199.99, $299.99, or $319.99.
Starting tomorrow, you’ll be able to pre-order upgrades for much cheaper prices; $49.99 for Home Premium and $99.99 for Professional, but there is a catch, the pre-orders will be strictly limited in numbers, so you will have to act quickly. If you are purchasing a new PC/Laptop or laptop for a manufacturer, you will be eligible for a free upgrade to Windows 7.
