Looks like unofficial pictures of Nikons soon to be announced D3000 started to surface.  It looks like a scaled down version of D5000 and with a lot of features from D300.  No official details have been out yet but some suggest that it way have 720P video recording capability and 8 frames per second continuous shooting.  No pricing or the release date are known as of yet.
