Microsoft is trying very hard to take away a large chunk of market share from Google with the introduction of its new search engine, Bing, and it is doing a great job at it. Some features that Bing is doing well is displaying recent search trends something called xRank comparable to Google Trends, but with one large variance. Bing displays the latest up-to-date data on xRank unlike Google that lags couple of days behind.
You can see trends of specific word just but typing it and you will get the results immediately on Bing’s xRank while Google Trends will show no such data at all.
I think Google needs to pick up their game up a notch if they do notch with some of the new features if they do not want to start lagging behind all of a sudden in their top game. Your thoughts on this topic are always welcome.
