
AMD has just released the Athlon X2 7850 Black Edition 2.8GHz processor that will be one of the faster 65nm dual-core processor from AMD’s budget line. The Black Edition model makes great gains for owners looking to overclock past the factory settings, since enthusiasts will be able to select memory controller, HyperTransport and CPU core frequencies via Windows software or through system BIOS.
Athlon X2 7850 Black edition is an unlocked, Kuma 65nm based dual core that works at 2.8GHz and probably can easily overclock to over 3GHz. It has TDP of 95W, 2x512KB L2 cache and 2MB L3 cache.
